National Women’s Education Center of Japan

On February 10, NWEC received a visit from Ms. Rosalie C. Otero-Yamanaka, Executive Director, and Ms. Nora Guillermo, Finance Officer, of Batis Center for Women, an organization that supports Filipino victims of trafficking returning from Japan and their children. The Batis Center cooperates with various support organizations with respect to victim protection and support activities. Informal discussions were held on activities undertaken by a group established by the children of Filipino women and Japanese men, and the importance of career education for children.
